EURO CONF TRIP II

At the end of October, 2026, LAC plans to send a team of helpers to a destination in the UK to serve international workers and their families. The likely dates for the trip will be October 17-26, 2026 - to be finalized soon.

The primary work will be to meet together ahead of time to plan and prepare activities, lessons, and materials for children's programming for children ranging from high school age down to infants. The team will be in charge of activities for sessions in the morning, afternoons, and possibly some evenings over the five-day conference. There will also be down time and chances to minister to the parents by being present with them, listening to and praying for them.

Teams that have done trips like this before have appreciated getting to know the children and the parents. They've described the experience as filling their hearts and as something they'll never forget.

Anyone interested in being considered to serve on this team will need to fill out an Outreach Trip Application, submit a $300 deposit (which will be refunded if not chosen), and help in raising funds to meet the cost of the trip. There will be required pre-trip meetings, as well as a post-trip debrief. Team members will also help tell the story of the trip's impact and how they saw Jesus at work.

OUTREACH TRIPS & INITIATIVES

We believe in the value of exposing people to the mission field first-hand. Participation in a Volunteer Outreach Service trip not only heightens awareness of the needs overseas but also emphasizes our responsibility to obey the Great Commission given by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you."

These trips are not vacations. We work hard to make sure that our teams are a blessing to the missionaries on the field and not a burden. Over the years the Lord has provided so that we could send worship, construction, and ministry teams to places such as Japan, Côte d'Ivoire (West Africa), Egypt, Amsterdam (Netherlands), Mexico, Lebanon, Jordan, Brazil, Poland, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Ecuador, Gulf Coast, and more!

People who participate in these trips return as changed people. They return with a renewed vision for world outreach which affects their thinking, praying, and giving.
